Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and who else touches it. We collect less than you might expect.
Effective 10 August 2026
What we collect
Account details: your first and last name, and your email address. Your password is stored by our authentication provider in hashed form — we never see it.
Team activity: the teams you belong to, your role on each, dinner votes you create or vote in, team meals and your RSVPs, poll answers, itinerary and schedule entries, and team announcements.
Membership: whether you have an active Tourneyfly+ membership, which plan, and when the current period ends. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we store an identifier that links your account to your Stripe customer record, never your card number.
Discount redemptions: when you generate a discount code, we record your account, the restaurant, the code, and when it was created and expires. This is how we enforce one live code per restaurant, and how we report activity to partner restaurants.
What we deliberately do not collect
We do not collect your location. Tourneyfly has no GPS access, no distance features, and no "near me" search. Restaurants are filtered by city, cuisine, and name only.
We do not track how much you save, and we do not build advertising profiles.
We do not collect information about children. Accounts belong to adults, and a team is identified by a name you choose — nothing about individual players is requested or stored.
Why we collect it
To run the service: signing you in, showing your teams, counting votes and RSVPs, and displaying your Pass.
To enforce membership: checking at the moment of redemption that a membership is active.
To support partner relationships: telling a partner restaurant how many redemptions they received. This is aggregate activity — we do not hand over your name or email.
To contact you about your account: password resets, and receipts sent by Stripe.
Who else touches your data
Supabase — database and authentication. Stores your account and all team data.
Vercel — hosting. Serves the app and keeps operational logs.
Stripe — payments. Handles checkout, billing, and receipts, and holds your payment details under their own privacy policy.
Resend — email delivery for account emails such as password resets.
Google Maps — a map appears on individual restaurant pages. Loading that map involves Google, subject to their privacy policy. No map is shown anywhere else in the app.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
What other people can see
Members of a team can see your display name, your role on that team, how you voted in team dinner votes, your RSVPs to team meals, and your poll answers. Team activity is shared by design — that is the point of a team.
Your email address is not shown to other team members. Your membership status, and whether you have redeemed any discount, are never visible to anyone else.
Anyone holding a team's join code can join that team and see its shared content. Treat a join code as you would a group chat invite.
How long we keep it
Account and team data is kept while your account exists. If you leave a team, your membership of it ends, though content you created — a vote you started, for instance — may remain with the team.
Redemption records are kept as a record of partner activity.
Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data. Some records may persist briefly in backups and in Stripe's billing records, which we are required to retain.
Your choices
You can view and update your name from the app, cancel a membership at any time, or ask us to delete your account entirely.
Tourneyfly sends no marketing email and has no notification emails to opt out of. The only email you will receive from us relates to your account, plus receipts from Stripe.
